Artist's statement

I admire the beauty of this material world, because everything is so attractive. However, I do not represent it as the way I see it, but as the way I want to see it.

Line and color cannot be divided. Line builds form, color fills it. Line is tender and gracious; color, on the other hand, is hard and violent. The two work together, barring that they contradict each other.

Painting is supposed to be 'holidays' for eyes. Line's tenderness and graciousness create the soothing atmosphere while color's hardness and violentness bring people back to reality.
